We combine members’ annual contributions to invest in high-impact grants to nonprofit programs selected by our members throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Non-profit organizations should review eligibility and expectations below and consider applying for a grant.
grant ELIGIBILITY
Organizations that apply for a Whiskey and Wishes grant must meet the following eligibility requirements:
The ability to provide proper documentation/status as a 501(c)(3) or 509(a) public charity.
Provide services to Greater Cincinnati or Northern Kentucky.
Clearly state a program or project in which the grant will impact, providing details on where the grant monies will be spent and why funding is needed.
Define measurable goals or anticipated outcomes in which the funds would impact if awarded.
Request should serve an underserved defined population or target audience.
Be able to express community need for project/program
The project or program should be innovative and impactful - share how your project or program meets this requirement.
Organization must use the funds granted within two (2) years of receiving.
Must be able to show documentation of how funds were used after awarded.
Grants cannot be awarded for the following
Endowments, completed projects, travel, loans, or for individuals.
Regranting funds to other non-profit organizations is not permitted.
